Established on 3 July 2024 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysia Carbon Market Association (MCMA) is a non-profit organisation representing the Malaysian carbon market. The association is a consortium of key players drawn from Malaysia’s private and public sectors, contributing towards the development of the country’s carbon market ecosystem.

We contribute to the formulation of national policies. The goal is to ensure that compliance and voluntary carbon markets can effectively and equitably contribute towards Malaysia's Net Zero goal by 2050.
